- Make sure that your niche is specific enough that specializing in it gives you an advantage over the competition.

2. Attract prospects.
One of the great things about online marketing is that there are so many marketing options to choose from, and believe it or not, it's also one of the worst things. Before you dive into experimenting with every marketing "wonder" method under the sun do some research and put some time into carefully selecting one that you like. Then commit to implementing it and becoming proficient enough that you get the results you are looking for.
3. Write your company blueprint.
This is a very important step that is often overlooked. Take an inventory of all of your potential product content and create a standardized system by making an outline that takes your typical client from where they are, to where they want to be. Make sure to include every step, and then go back and fill in as much information as you can. The more detail the better. You can use this blueprint to; create information products, coaching agendas, membership website content, and marketing material. Having the entire thing completed before hand will allow you to create content for anything you want quickly.
4. Create your membership website.
Select a method for creating your website. Some popular ones are outsourcing it, working with WordPress or purchasing a membership website template. Once you have selected a format. Upload the material from your blueprint that you want on your membership website.
5. Decide on updates.
Determine what elements of your website will be updated monthly (or more regularly). Marketing, strategies and case studies work well for this. You can also add audio and video tutorials to supplement the text information available.
6. Promote your website.
Now you are ready to promote your website to the people on your lead list. Since they have already displayed a significant interest in the benefits of your information and you have been building a relationship with them they are likely to be very receptive. Give them a strong incentive like a free or heavily discounted trial to try out the membership and then continue to market for new prospects and watch your bank account grow.
