Content rich websites are the basis for some of the most profitable sites on the web, and are the easiest way to start a web business with potential for growth. A content rich website simply provides its readers quality, informative content within its subject line, or in related subjects. There are several ways to do this. First, and most profitable in terms of producing traffic, is to write your own articles. Before you panic, ANYONE can write short articles for their website! Simply write in common language, do a little research, and let the readers hear your experience.
Another way to obtain content is to visit other like sites, and ask the webmasters if they have articles they could submit. In exchange, you will offer them a byline and website link at the end of their article. Simple, effective, and free! They should be informative, and not too wordy...write like you speak. Now you take your article, and offer it to any websites that might be interested in your content in exchange for the attached byline...just do a Google search with your subject or related subjects, and email the webmaster. Also submit your articles to the very same article banks I mentioned above. When webmasters use your articles, readers click on your link at the end of article...voila! Traffic!
Next- Get onto the search engines. Submitting to other sites will help with this also! The more websites that use your articles and link to you, the higher your will rank in the search engines, and the more traffic they will send you. Your first step is to get onto to Google...go to their site and follow directions to submit a site. There are also free services that will submit for you, and they are worth a try. Also submit to Yahoo (they have a faster paid listing, but you can still submit for free if you're patient) and Dmoz.com.
