Backlinks For Blogging - High Profile Article Syndication

For your article syndication you want to find High Profile Content Syndication (HPCS) sites. These are usually top sites in your market or they're article submission sites. Here's how I distribute articles and find HPCS sites for a particular subject.
Article Submission Sites
The most straightforward way is to submit your articles to article submission sites.
Submit them to top articles sites such as:
* EzineArticles
* Article Base
* Article Alley
* Ideamarketers
* Go Articles
* Buzzle
Expert Authors
You can also them your articles to sites like lifehack.org, about.com, site-reference.com, and mashable.com. They provide powerful backlinks but I find they require very well written, knowledgeable articles in order to be accepted. It will probably take a little more work to get your them posted on these types of sites but it's well worth the effort if you can!
How to find HPCS sites?
1. Find a popular article title or topic. You can look for one by using Google Keyword Tool or Delicious.com to find them. They will show you popular keywords and articles for the niche you search for. For example we can use the keyword phrase How to get rid of fleas.
2. Type How to get rid of fleas into Google and put "..." quotes around it. Find a popular article that results from this search. Make sure you are looking at the original post though.
3. Next, see where this popular article has been published. Take the URL from the original post and put it into Yahoo Site Explorer to see who is linking to this site. Click on "Inlinks" and "Except from this domain" from the options at the top.
4. Now you can see every site on the internet where this post has been published. If your article is related to this topic you could potentially submit your article to these same sites for publication. This can also be a good way to find a site for a Guest Blog.
